creamy spinach and mushroom spaghetti

Ingredients (Serves 2–3):

  • 200g spaghetti

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or 1 tbsp butter

  • 2–3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 200g mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini work well)

  • 100g fresh spinach

  • 200ml heavy cream (or half-and-half)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional but recommended)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • (Optional: red pepper flakes or nutmeg for extra depth)
