Poor Man’s Stew

Poor Man’s Stew (Slow Cooker Version)

The Ingredients

  • 1 lb (or 1.5 lbs) Ground beef (lean works best so it’s not too oily)

  • 4-5 Large Potatoes, peeled and cubed into bite-sized pieces

  • 3-4 Large Carrots, sliced into thick rounds

  • 1 Medium Yellow onion, diced

  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced

  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) Condensed Tomato Soup (the secret to that silky, rich base)

  • 1 cup Water or beef broth (adjust based on how thick you like it)

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp Dried oregano or Italian seasoning

  • Salt and black pepper to taste
