Target to Close Stores in Response to Rising Theft and Retail Crime

Target has announced the closure of nine shops across four states in response to a concerning rise in theft and organized retail crime. Problems remain despite extensive security efforts, including increasing the number of security officers, using cutting-edge theft-deterrent technology, and even contracting with outside guards.
Areas Affected by the Effects
The following places will be affected by these closures, and the remaining sites and personnel will need to be informed:

There are still 96 businesses in New York City, and more than 20,000 people work at 517 E. 117th St. in Harlem.
University Way, 4535 University Way NE, Seattle
Located at 1448 NW Market St., Ste. 100 in Ballard. (almost 4,000 team members working at the 22 remaining shops)
Oakland/San Francisco: SF Address: 1690 Folsom St., Oakland Two thousand six Broadway
At 4301 Century Blvd., Pittsburg, there are 32 shops left, employing more than 6,400 people.
