Materials Needed:
Fabric adhesive or fabric glue
Patching fabric (preferably in a similar color or pattern)
Scissors
Iron and ironing board
Parchment paper or a pressing cloth
Instructions:
Prepare the Area:
Lay the clothing item flat on an ironing board.
Ensure the area around the hole is clean and dry.
Cut the Patch:
Cut a piece of patching fabric slightly larger than the hole. The patch should cover the hole with some extra fabric around the edges to ensure a secure bond.
Apply Fabric Adhesive:
Place the patching fabric over the hole.
Lift one edge of the patch and apply fabric adhesive around the hole on the inside of the clothing item.
Carefully press the patch down onto the adhesive. Repeat this step around all edges of the patch.
