Homemade Hamburger Peppers and Onion Gyros

Instructions

Start by adding your lean ground beef to the skillet and cooking it on medium heat.

We will now add some olive oil, green and red peppers, and onion to it.

Let it cook until the color of the beef is changed and the vegetables are perfectly done.

Now we will add the can of Rotel and mix it well with the prepared beef on low heat.

Season it with salt and pepper to taste.

Those who want to add some spices at this point can go ahead. You can add some hot sauce, paprika, Cajun seasoning, and anything you like.

We will start preparing our gyros now.

Place 4 aluminum sheets (you can cut two in half for the gyros).

Place the pita bread on which you will add the meat and roll it with the help of aluminum foil.

Top it with sour cream or any of your favorite sauces.

I prefer mine with diced bleu cheese and sour cream
