Lemon Cream Cheese Dump Cake Recipe !!

Introduction:

The beauty of this dessert is that it is so free and easy to make in the dump and bake style. You can thus have your nice cake without too much hassle, when you just want something sweet but do not have a lot of time. With a few simple ingredients and little preparation, this homemade dish can be prepared for your family or friends.
Ingredients:

– 1 box lemon cake mix

– 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup powdered sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– Zest of 1 lemon

– Juice of 1 lemon

– 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping

– Lemon slices and mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease up a baking pan measuring about 9 x13 inches with either butter or non-stick spray.

In a large bowl beat the cheese until it becomes smooth.
Add the sugar powder into cheese along with the vanilla essence, zest as well as juice from lemon. Mix until all things are consistent and soft inside.

Put this mixture uniformly in an already greased dish.

Spread dry mix evenly on top of the layer consisting of cream cheese.

6. Ensure it is completely covered by pouring evenly over the cake mix layer the melted butter.

7. Or until the top turns golden brown and bubbling sides in 35-40 minutes bake in a preheated oven.

8. Before serving, take it off from the oven and wait for some time so that it cools down.

9. They can be served warm or at room temperature with each portion being accompanied by a dollop of whipped cream or whipped topping.
