Buffalo Meatballs with Honey in the Slow Cooker

Preparation time: Less than twenty minutes Cooking time: Approximately two hours and ten minutes Yield: 4–6 servings

Ingredients:

2.25 lbs. lean ground beef
2 eggs
Approximately 1 cup crumbled saltine crackers (around 22 crackers)
1/3 cup minced onion
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
50/50 milligrams chili powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Honey Buffalo Sauce:

1/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce (original)
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup apricot preserves (or substitute with tangerine or orange)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 tablespoon butter
